Our Story
Why we built this.
Between us, we have 5 graduate degrees. Books gave us our interior lives. When our daughter turned four, we couldn't find a single, clear, beautiful system for teaching her to read. A decade later, our son turned four and we had the same problem. So we rolled up our sleeves and built Readway for our family and yours.
Margaret Kimball
Founder & Co-CEO
Margi is a writer, illustrator, and mother of two. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and an MFA in Design. Her graphic memoir earned starred reviews from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, and Booklist. She's spent her career making complex things beautiful and clear — for publishers, brands, and readers around the world.
Christian Moody
Founder, Co-CEO
Christian is a fiction writer and former creative writing professor with a PhD in English, an MS in Education, and an MFA in Creative Writing. His short stories have won numerous awards. As a father of two, he knows what it's like to want more for your kiddos. He and Margi built Readway so parents would have a clear system to help kiddos unlock the magic of reading.
